Britain becoming the largest porn market

In a major survey for the Independent by Nielsen NetRatings, the world-leader in Internet analysis, the research also discloses that women are among the fastest growing users of pornography on the Internet, with a 30 percent rise from one million to 1,5 million in the past 12 months. The figures also show that more than half of all children - about seven million - have encountered pornography on the Internet "while looking for something else".

"The Internet has made sex-lazy men even sex-lazier where they get lost in their own world," he added. "It used to be said that men neglected foreplay, but now they are neglecting sex." Phillip Hodson of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy warned that this new generation of "voyeurs" risk problems in their love lives.

A total of 28 R18 movies were passed by British censors last week, compared with 25 for the whole of 2000. There are now 6,500 titles available in Britain. Yesterday, the Internet Watch Foundation, the online child abuse watchdog, warned the popularity of Web porn is leading more people into child pornography.

The UK porn industry is estimated to be now worth about 1-billion pounds, compared with 20 billion pounds worldwide. British Internet surfers look up the word "porn" more than anyone in the English-speaking world, the Independent reports.

Forty per cent of couples having problems with their relationships say Internet pornography is at least partly to blame, Daily Mail reports.

A Woman With A Lot Mystique

Seeing your album
and reading your poem
word by word
I took a long moment
Thoughts after thought
I decipher the secrets
of your wonderful inner world.

you are a woman
a lot more beautiful
than your corporeal being.
your heart holds many mysterious
holds many pains of life
several dreams to gain
and all that has transformed
into a heart of more joy.
that taught you an art of hiding
with an art of shearing.
you shear your world in poetic,
you play with your imaginative
you are a woman with a lot mystique

It will be an honor of my life
If i touch your heart
and learn the regale of your life.

Katie Holmes, Where Are Your Pants?

Katie Holmes showed off her long beautiful legs while getting out of her car. It seemed like the actress wasn't wearing any pants, but in fact her hot pants hitched up so high they disappeared beneath her denim shirt. Katie matched the invisible pants with strappy high heels.
Katie was enjoying a shopping day out with her daughter Suri in Toronto. Let's just hope she didn't have to run after Suri with those high heels.

Taylor Swift Prefers Writing About Pain: The MTV News Quote Of The Day

"Those things are not things that I stop myself and don't write songs about, those are things that take a while to figure out how to write. I write about everything that intensely affects me. The more intense, the more painful, the more of a shudder it is to think about, the more I know I need to write a song about it to get past it. It's been like this since I was a little kid, and I would go to school, and I would think to myself, 'Man, I'm really lonely, and I don't know who to talk to today, but it's OK 'cause I can write a song about it later.' It's the same process; I'm just 20 now."

-Pop sensation Taylor Swift, discussing how the songs on her new album Speak Now reflect what she is actually thinking and feeling — even if those things are painful. The new album (which just hit stores this past Monday, October 25) is full of naked confessions and deeply personal stories, with each song containing a narrative about a particular person in Swift's life. Those subjects include a handful of other famous people she has had run-ins with, including John Mayer ("Dear John") and Taylor Lautner ("Back to December").

Most critics agree that Swift's raw approach has resulted in a better, more mature album, and it could mean big things for her at the cash register, as there is speculation that should could come close to selling one million copies of Speak Now in a single week.
