Donna Glover, 40, A British woman has recently diagnosed that she is a patient of Kleine- Levine syndrome (kLS), also known as Sleeping syndrome, which is suffered by just one person in six million.
She has suffered from these sexual urges since she was in her teens.
Donna describes her experience to News of the world: "When I have an episode of the illness, all I want to do is have sex. Doesn’t matter where I am, who I’m with or what the consequences will be. I just have to have it. It is an over whelming desire I just can’t control. I become a sexual predator.”
The US- based Klevin-Levin Syndrome Foundation website says the condition normally strikes during adolescence and almost exclusively affects men.
Hyper sexuality is more common in men than woman and is also a symptom of bi-polar disorder.
The cause of this condition is not known.
Ms Donna who said she was normally a shy reserved and faithful person, has slept with more than 150 men despite being married for five years and having had five long term partners.
Doctors only diagnosed Ms Donna Glover with KLS last year after recognizing her symptoms.
An attack can cause her to fall asleep for up to 20 hours a day. When she wakes, she experiences an uninhabitable desire for sex- known as hyper sexuality- and severe food cravings.
She says: she was “ashamed” at having random sex with men she met at super market or in Parks.
She failed to hold down a proper job and destroying her past relationships. It made going grocery shopping a chore for her.
